Actor Aadi Saikumar, who has his calendar full with a flurry of projects, is getting ready for his second release in the year after Atithi Devobhava. The 'Lovely' actor's long-delayed film Black is finally set to hit screens soon. The film is written and directed by G B Krishna. Mahankali Diwakar has bankrolled the film under Mahankali Movies. The makers have announced that Black will have a theatrical release on April 22.
The director GB Krishna exudes optimism when he says that Aadi is showcased in a never-seen-before avatar in Black and the film will have something new to offer audiences. "It'll be a special film in his career," the team is confident. The makers are happy with the response for the film's teaser launched sometime ago. After wrapping up the shoot and post-production formalities, the team has chosen a release slot that falls between two biggies - KGF Chapter 2 and Acharya.
"Black will be a new experience for crowds. Aadi's performance, the story and the gripping screenplay are the major highlights of the film. My producer Mahankali Diwakar never left anything to chance with the film production. The first copy of the film is ready. We plan to unveil the trailer in the first week of April and release the film on April 22," the director further added. The producer Mahankali Diwakar shared that he's very convinced with the film's output and said that Black will make a good watch for family audiences.
"Our director has G B Krishna has made a quality film an we're sure audiences will encourage our efforts," the producer is optimistic. Darshana Banik, Kaushal Manda, Aamani, Prudhvi Raj, Surya, Satyam Rajesh, Thagubothu Ramesh and Ananda Chakrapani also essay important roles in the film. Suresh Bobbili has composed the music for the film which has cinematography by Satish Muthyala. Black is edited by Amar Reddy and has Ramakrishna as its action choreographer. KV Ramana is the art director.
