Aamir Khan begins preparations for movie with Ranbir Kapoor; here is when the filming is expected to begin

Ranbir Kapoor made a cameo appearance in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster 2014 hit, PK. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to see the two stars collaborate for a movie again, and the wait is finally coming to an end soon. 

According to Pinkvilla, the makers of the project, starring Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, have begun its early preparations and the film is expected to go on floors soon. 

“This yet-to-be titled project will be made on a massive scale and will have an important message for the audience. So Aamir has already started looking into aspects like the scale of VFX, discussions around the probable locations, looks, among other things,” a source close to the project told the portal. 

The source also confirmed that the script for the movie, backed by Aamir, is being developed. The source added that the actor plans to begin filming for the project after the release of the much-awaited film, Laal Singh Chaddha. 

Aamir, who was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan, is expected to wrap the filming of Laal Singh Chaddha in May. Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie is the remake of the coming-of-age comedy drama, Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. 

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has a few movies in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera, Luv Ranjan’s untitled film, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Recent reports suggest that Rashmika Mandanna will also be seen in Animal, which also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
