Age and stardom are in no way related to being nervous about one's body of work, especially when the person is Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan.
While talking at an event for PVR Cinemas, Aamir Khan, who was the Guest of Honour, revealed to the media that before the release of all his movies he gets really "nervous" and that for Laal Singh Chaddha, the feeling is just the same.
"I’m nervous about the release. I have not slept for 48 hours. I can only sleep after the 11th of August," said the star, who has also produced the film under his banner Aamir Khan Productions.
Speaking about the director's (Advait Chandan) frame of mind, Aamir said that he is no better. "I believe both Advait and I will sleep like ghodas post the release of the film," he joked.
During the hour-long conversation with the media, Aamir Khan also touched upon controversies circling his movie: from the KBC salute debacle to a social media user's call for a boycott of Laal Singh Chaddha.
For those of you who are not in the know, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump and features Aamir Khan in the lead role, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
The big-banner, much-hyped movie is slated to be released in theatres on August 11, 2022, in three Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
