Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan opts for 'no-gift' policy at wedding? Find out about her meaningful alternative

Aamir Khan and his former wife Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan is all set to get married. She will be exchanging wedding vows with Nupur Shikhare on January 8, 2024. Before their grand wedding in Udaipur, the couple will reportedly register their marriage at the court on January 3. Now, a Pinkvilla report suggests the star kid has apparently opted for a 'no-gift' policy at her wedding with Nupur.

Ira Khan opts for a no-gift policy?

The media report states that Ira Khan has reportedly opted for a 'no-gift' policy and suggested a thoughtful alternative. The guests at Ira and Nupur's wedding can express their love and shower blessings by donating to the star kid's NGO, Agastu Foundation. For the uninitiated, Ira is the co-founder of Agastu foundation, which is dedicated to mental health and well-being.

Ira Khan has always been vocal about her mental well-being. Aamir's daughter admitted that she was in depression. Earlier, in an interview with News18, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor had revealed Nupur stood by his daughter's side while she battled depression. Aamir mentioned that Shikhare emotionally supported Ira.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding details

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Ira and Nupur's court marriage will be followed by a reception party in Mumbai tomorrow. The reception will be held at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. It will be attended by their close friends and family members.

Following that, Ira and Nupur will head to Udaipur for their grand wedding. The couple will get married on January 8, 2024. Later, they will host a grand reception in Mumbai on January 13. It is expected to be attended by the who's who of Bollywood. 

As for Ira and Nupur, they were in a relationship for a long time before they decided to take it to the next level. The duo met in 2020 and instantly hit it off.
