Aarya 2 trailer: Sushmita Sen is just a 'working mother' with a plan, series releases on THIS date

The makers have just dropped the much-awaited trailer of the Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya 2. The latest video also features the significant characters of the series including Chandrachur Singh, Sikandar Kher and Ankur Bhatia. 

The official trailer video begins with Sushmita in a vulnerable state, where the actress can be seen watching an old video that was made by his husband before his death. Chandrachur’s Tej Sareen can be seen in the clip saying, “I have never made a video like this before, so I don’t know how to begin. Aarya, I seriously hope you don’t have to watch this video. If you do, then something is seriously wrong.” The trailer glimpses a recap of the last season, where Aarya’s husband can be seen shot in front of his own house.

In the beginning, the actress can be seen in a vulnerable state but later rise to the occasion to protect her family from the evil world.

Talking about the upcoming crime-thriller show, director Ram Madhvani mentioned in a recent statement that the character of Aarya symbolises strength and vulnerability and she has to face her past so that she can save her family and protect her future. “In the second season, the audiences encounter Aarya in a new light. While in the first season, we saw her take the moral stand on the incidents around her life, this time we will see her emerge with a survival instinct like never before,” he added.

Interestingly, Aarya marks the first project of the Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? actress on OTT platforms. 

Aarya 2 has now set the bar high with its latest intriguing trailer. Aarya 2, which has been co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on December 10.
