Aashiqui 3: Is Mukesh Bhatt REGRETTING announcing the Kartik Aaryan starrer early? Deets here!

It’s not every day that the audiences eagerly wait for the second part or the third instalment of any successful film. Very few examples exist in Bollywood for the same. Only recently, we saw the tremendous success of the Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2, which was a sequel to a successful Gadar. Ditto was the case with the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was a sequel to the Akshay Kumar hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Speaking of Kartik Aaryan, he is now all set to reportedly feature in Aashiqui 3, which happens to be the third instalment of the original superhit film Aashiqui, which starred Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal. Even though there have been many stories associated with the film that have been making the rounds for some time now, the latest one is about the film’s producer Mukesh Bhatt expressing regret about announcing the film (Aashiqui 3) so early on.

As per a report in Mid Day, Mukesh Bhatt (who is the producer of Aashiqui 3) has now expressed his disappointment with consistent rumours that have been surrounding the film. The filmmaker said they shouldn’t have made the announcement so early, (because), every other day, there is speculation about the film or its casting and that’s why he was tired of these stories coming out of nowhere.

Filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt also added that Anurag Basu (who is the director of Aashiqui 3), was currently busy with other projects. He added that, once the script gets finalised, then, they would see if they can go ahead with it. He also mentioned that Kartik Aaryan also had to like the script for them to work on its music. He summed it up saying that they want to do Aashiqui 3 in the right manner.

Readers may recall that, a few months ago, a small audio clip got leaked on the internet, which was claimed to be the first song from Aashiqui 3. No sooner the audio clip became viral, the internet showed it a thumbs down claiming that they were tired of listening to Arijit Singh. As for the film ‘Aashiqui 3’, it is now being rumoured that Tara Sutaria will now be paired opposite Kartik Aaryan in the film, although there have been no announcement or confirmation about anything.
