Aavesham - Sushin Shyam explains why he has high hopes for the Fahadh Faasil-starrer, just like Manjummel Boys

During the film's press conference, which took place in Kochi today (April 9), music composer Sushin Shyam gave an explanation of why he is excited about Fahadh Faasil's upcoming Malayalam movie, Aavesham. Like Manjummel Boys and Romancham, he said, he finds high hope in Jithu Madhavan’s Aavesham. "It is a full-fledged entertainer with eight soundtracks," he remarked.

The popular music director continued by saying that even though the songs do not have any specific plots, they do appear as background music when needed to enhance the visual experience of watching the film.

He said that the movie's songs, which include two or three Malayalam rap tracks, have a fast tempo, much like the songs in Romancham. "The remaining tracks are expected to be made available on digital platforms after Aavesham's theatrical release on April 11," he continued.

‘Had no other voice other than Sreenath Bhasi’s for Jaada’

Sushin stated that he was only thinking of Sreenath Bhasi when he composed Jaada. "I usually like to work with voices that fit the song," he said. During the press conference, the music composer also stated how much he preferred to collaborate with independent artists like Dabzee and Vedan.

In an interview earlier, Sushin said that when he composes music, he mostly considers the situation at hand and the appropriate emotions that accompany it. The music director added that he looked to artists like Yogi B for inspiration in order to completely comprehend the music that young people were exposed to in those days for Manjummel Boys. Aavesham, meanwhile, found inspiration in t he songs of Tamil music composer Anirudh.

Sushin Shyam’s previous works

Even though Sushin's previous album, Manjummel Boys, only had two songs in the movie, it was a huge hit. Viewers also highly complimented his soundtracks in recent films, Bheeshma Parvam and Romancham. Thanks to his lively soundtracks, the music composer has a devoted following among young people in Kerala.
