Abhay 3: Divya Agarwal says she had to be in ‘two different mindsets at all times’ to play Harleen on Kunal Kemmu’s show

After making a splash in the reality TV scene, Divya Agarwal has wowed viewers yet again with her acting in the third season of Abhay. The actress’ latest on-screen appearance came in Abhay 3, and she recently opened up about her stint on the show, led by Kunal Kemmu.

In a statement, Agarwal said that she felt ‘surprised’ at hearing the responses for her character on the show, Harleen. She said it felt ‘amazing’ as she got more recognition for her acting abilities now. Although playing the character in Abhay 3 was challenging for her, it was something she enjoyed doing. “From being the bubbly and cute social media star to switching to a killer on the loose required me to be in two different mindsets at all times for the role, but that in itself was a major learning process for me and there was so much I grasped upon whilst getting into the skin of my character, which has helped me build myself as an actor even more," the actress said.

Agarwal added that she felt grateful to be a part of the series and that every person on set, from the cast members to the crew, taught her things to enhance her acting abilities. She also talked about how she looked forward to take on more projects like Abhay where she gets the chance to provide different content to her audiences.

Agarwal, who is the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, has also had a pivotal role in the Alt Balaji web series, Cartel.

In addition to Agarwal and Kunal Kemmu, Abhay 3 also stars Asha Negi, Vijay Raaz, Vidya Malvade, Rahul Dev, Tanuj Virwani, Divya Agarwal, Krissann Barretto and Nidhi Singh. The third season premiered on April 8 this year. The series is created by Ken Ghosh.
