The shoot is currently on in a grand set erected in the Binny Mills compound in Chennai, which is said to be a replica of London prison. It was only recently that Arun Vijay had announced that he was severely injured and that he had a ligament tear.

Achcham Enbadhu Illayae marks the comeback of British actress Amy Jackson, who made her debut with Madrasapattinam (2010). Incidentally, the film was directed by Vijay as well. GV Prakash, who had scored the music for Madrasapattinam will score the music for this film as well.

The film marks Arun and Arivazhagan return after their recent web series TamilRockerz and the 2017 film Kuttram.

Arun Vijay has had a series of releases recently, which includes GNR Kumaravelan's Sinam in which he played a cop, Hari's action-packed Yaanai and Shankar's children comedy drama Oh My Dog.
