Actor Kavin-starrer Star is expected to be one of the promising films of 2024. While the makers have constantly kept the audience engaged about the film by giving update after another, the team recently took to social media to announce that veteran actors Lal and Geetha Kailasam have wrapped up shooting their portions.
Star is directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kadhal-fame. The film is expected to feature Kavin as a movie star and the struggles one must go through to achieve fame and name.
Lal and Geetha Kailasam wrap up Star shooting
The makers on Thursday announced that Lal and Geetha Kailasam have wrapped up shooting their portions for Star. A video of the actors celebrating their last moments on the sets was released.
Speaking about her experience working in Star, Geetha said, "I had initially not given dates for the film, but you were determined that I do the role and waited for me to become free. I am very grateful for that and it is such a wonderful opportunity to have worked with Lal sir. Really enjoyed working with you." Lal also spoke how the sets gave him a positive energy and that he is very much happy to be part of the film. The video also showed behind-the-scenes of the shooting and the crew cutting cake.
About Star
Star is currently in its last stages of production and post-production. Yuvan Shankar Raja who is scoring the music, has begun with the re-recording works recently. Written and directed by Elan, Star also stars actors Aaaditi S Pohankar and Preity Mukhundhan as the female leads. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad and Sreenidhi Sagar.
Initially, Star was announced with actor Harish Kalyan and the makers had also released the posters featuring the actor in iconic looks resembling Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. However, due to reasons undisclosed, Kavin took up the role. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
