Adnan Khan reveals the real reason behind his wish to explore negative shades on screen

Actor Adnan Khan has always been associated with his utmost dedication towards his craft. A sample of his dedication was seen when he was doing the popular shows like ‘Love By Chance’ and ‘Juzz Baat’. His acting skills in shows like these have definitely gained him many fans and followers. But, being the restless soul that he is, he is not wanting to be playing the goody-goody roles all the time.

That’s the reason why Adnan Khan has been looking for scripts, which, even if it may have gray shades, he would be still game for it. In a media note, Adnan Khan said, “Even though I have gained immense respect and fans and followers for my roles in shows, which have always been positive, there is a creative urge within me know that, I feel needs to be addressed. That’s why, I am open to do challenging characters”.

He added, “It can be a character of a warrior and it is something that hasn’t be written yet. That is something that I would really love to explore. It would be my darker side, I would really love to explore my negative shades on screen, to enhance them and play out with ease. I am looking for scripts which can exploit my full potential as an actor”.

On the professional front, Adnan Khan is presently seen playing the role of Viaan in the show ‘Katha Ankahee’, for which, he had even been awarded recently. After having risen to fame with ‘Ishq Subhaan Allah’ (where he was seen playing Kabir), Adnan Khan has definitely come a long way. And when asked about Bollywood, he said, “Just keep your fingers crossed the way in which I have kept mine”. Also, not many people know that Adnan is also a writer/director. During his sabbatical post 'Ishq Subhaan Allah', the actor withdrew himself into a shell to direct his first ever short film. The 'visionary man' (as he is known amongst his friends and close ones), will be releasing it in a couple of months.
