After KGF: Chapter 2’s success, fans wait director Prashanth Neel’s Salaar; read tweets

KGF: Chapter 1 which released in 2018 was directed by Prashanth Neel and starred Yash in the male lead. The film's sequel has finally arrived on the big screen, nearly four years later, and it has received a terrific response, as promised. The film is a hit with critics and viewers equally liking it, and it will undoubtedly take the box office by storm. Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, will be his next film and fans are now anxiously awaiting its release.

Prashant Neel, who made his debut with the Kannada film Ugramm in 2014, came to stardom shortly after the release of Yash Raj's KGF: Chapter 1, which went on to become the highest-grossing Kannada film of all time at the box office.

Salaar will be released in 2023, according to the makers, even though it was first announced in 2020. It is also a bilingual movie, shot in Telugu and Kannada simultaneously. Additionally, Salaar will see Prabhas share screen space with Malayalam superstar Prithviraj for the first time.

Director Prasanth had also revealed to Pinkvilla that the makers will soon release glimpses of Prabhas from the upcoming movie saying they “want to set up the audience for what’s coming next.” He added that a new schedule will begin next month.

Prabhas fans are now eagerly awaiting and thrilled after the KGF: Chapter 2 release since the last two films of the actor’s - Saaho and Radhe Shyam - couldn't match the monstrous levels set by Baahubali.
