After Mammootty's Bramayugam, Premalu to be dubbed in Telugu and has a Rajamouli connection, release date here

Just a few days ago, we at OTTplay reported that Malayalam films, Bramayugam and Premalu were doing quite well in the city of Hyderabad and extra screens were added to these most-talked-about films. A week later, Mammootty's Bramayugam was dubbed in Telugu by Sithara Entertainments and the film is now playing in theatres with a decent word of mouth.

Premalu to be dubbed in Telugu

Well, the latest update is that the romantic comedy, Premalu will also be soon dubbed in Telugu and plans are being made for the same. We have come to know that star director, Rajamouli's son, SS Karthikeya is planning to release the film in Telugu on March 8, 2024. The word is that he has bought the dubbing rights to this film for a fancy price.

The news is also that the Telugu dubbing formalities are being taken care of and an official announcement will be made soon. Things have changed in the last few years as most of the Malayalam films were remade in Telugu by big stars. But now with the advent of OTT, the audience is consuming regional films happily. So, remakes have gone out of the picture, and films like Bramayugam and Premalu are being dubbed in Telugu directly.

Premalu is co-written and directed by Girish A. D. and has Sangeet Pratap, Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Raveendran, Akhila Bhargavan, and Althaf Salim in key roles. Made on a budget of just Rs 3 crore, Premalu has made four times its budget at the box office.

Extra screens added for Premalu in Hyderabad

All those who have seen the film in Hyderabad have been posting on social media that the film should be dubbed in Telugu. As the film is also based in Hyderabad, the youth is liking the film even more. Looks like S S Karthikeya has made a note of this and is all set to bring Premalu to Telugu.
