Just before the pandemic hit the world, Priyanka Chopra Jonas visited Mumbai. Since then, the actor has been in LA, where she stays with her husband and actor-singer Nick Jonas. PeeCee has also been travelling for her UNICEF work and shoots in the US, London, Africa, and else where. After almost three years, Priyanka is all set to be "back home" as she is travelling to Mumbai.

The Desi Girl shared a picture of her boarding pass on her Instagram story. On the pass, it says that the actor is travelling to India. She captioned the photo as "Finally going home after almost three years. (sic)"

Meanwhile, on the work front, the Netflix children's superhero movie We Can Be Heroes, which was helmed by Robert Rodriguez, was Priyanka's only release of 2020. She played Ms. Granada, the head of a group of superheroes called the Heroics.

The White Tiger, directed by Ramin Bahrani and based on the same-titled satirical novel by Aravind Adiga, was her first movie of 2021. Along with Adarsh Gourav and Rajkummar Rao, she played the part of Pinky Madam in this Netflix production, and she also served as the executive producer. At the 93rd Academy Awards, the movie was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Priyanka had a small part in the science fiction movie The Matrix Resurrections, which came out later that year.

The love movie It's All Coming Back To Me, starring Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, will be her next project. She will be in the Amazon Prime Video thriller series Citadel with Richard Madden.

In a comedy about an Indian-American wedding produced by Universal Pictures, Priyanka has committed to starring alongside Mindy Kaling. In Seth Gordan's courtroom drama Tulia, he will play the lawyer Vanita Gupta. The story is based on a racial injustice case that happened in the same city in 1999.

She will star opposite Chris Pratt in the action movie Cowboy Ninja Viking. She will also co-star with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the 2023 film Jee Le Zaraa, directed by Farhan Akhtar.

Priyanka and Anthony Mackie will co-star in the Kevin Sullivan-directed action movie, Ending Things. She will also star in and produce the Amazon Studios version of the Shilpi Somaya Gowda book, Secret Daughter, which she will do with Sienna Miller.

Under the umbrella of her production company, she is creating more than a dozen regional films in several languages. As a producer, she signed a first-look TV deal with Amazon Prime Video worth millions of dollars. She also works with Viacom CBS to fund the work of first-time BIPOC filmmakers and female directors.
