Agent: Akhil Akkineni opens up on his dad, Nagarjuna's involvement in his career

Akhil Akkineni's Agent is all set for a release on the 28th of this month. It has to click at any cost as Agent has been in the making for over two and a half years now and has gone over budget. The pre-release event of Agent will be held today and Akhil's star dad, Nagarjuna will be gracing the event as the chief guest. Akhil is busy promoting the film and talks about his dad's involvement in the film.

Speaking in a very confident tone, Akhil says "I did not pitch the script to Dad and he only knows bits and pieces about Agent. Also, I want to make my own decisions and attribute the credit the success or failure of the film to myself. If I depend on my father for everything, when will I grow as a person?"

Akhil also adds that even though Nagarjuna has loads of experience as an actor, he does not depend on him for career choices and only takes suggestions when needed. Surender Reddy directs this film which also has Malayalam star Mammootty in a key role. The trailer has caught the imagination of many as big money has been spent on the film.

Sakshi Vaidya is making her film debut with this film which is an actor drama. Anil Sunkara has produced this film which is releasing along with PS 2. So, Akhil has added pressure to make his film a success at the box office. He has made a shocking makeover for this film and will showcase his ripped body in all the action sequences.
