Aha's Telugu original Kranthi clocks 15 million streaming minutes

A few days back, Aha released a small film that many did not even know about. Titled Kranthi, this thriller featured Rakendu Mouli and Inaya Sultanta as the main leads. The film was directed by Bhima Shankar and deals with the kidnappings of women in a small town. The film did not impress many but has still won some solace now.

As per the update, the film has clocked 15 million minutes on Aha which is great for a small-budget film with almost new faces. This shows that a good number of people watched the film online. Kranthi is front lined by Rakendu Mouli and Inaya Sultana. Rakendu was good in parts and Inaya Sulthana of Bigg Boss fame has a small role but she creates an impact.

The makers are quite happy with the response to this film on the OTT platform. Rakendu Mouli plays an aspiring cop in this film and he takes on a journey to nab the criminals who are behind these kidnappings and killings. The dialogues about women's safety are thought-provoking and are nicely used in the narrative and better editing would have made a world of difference.

Nevertheless, Kranthi is finding its target audience. As there are no big releases that came out this Friday, the concentration is on films like Kranthi and Balagam which were produced by Dil Raju. Balagam is doing well in theaters whereas Kranthi is doing great on the OTT platform Aha.
