Ahead of the theatrical release of Adrishya Jalakangal release, Tovino Thomas has written a heartfelt letter to the victims of wars.

Malayalam actor-producer Tovino Thomas on Wednesday launched a unique promotional campaign for his upcoming movie, Adrishya Jalakangal. He took to social media to share a heartfelt letter he wrote addressing the victims of wars.
The social media campaign named #LettersOfPeace encourages people to share their thoughts on the dehumanizing effects of war. "Team Adrishya Jalankangal invites you all to join us in this collective effort to write #LettersOfPeace to war victims, survivors and world leaders who are in the core and crux of all the devastation," Tovino wrote on X.
He urged his followers on social media to join him in his incentive as a way of expressing solidarity with those who have suffered the worst in wars. "Let's make a positive impact together, reminding those affected that they are not forgotten. Stand with us in empathy and compassion," he added.

Tovino kicked started the noble campaign with his own letter, where he extended his thoughts to men, women and children, whose lives are shattered by the wars.
"Each choice we make resonates in the lives of those who bear the brunt of conflict. Let empathy guide your actions, and let peace be the destination we strive for. To the victims and survivors, whose resilience in the face of adversity is awe-inspiring. Your strength in the midst Of turmoil is a testament to the human spirit's indomitable will. Let our collective voices echo the plea for harmony and unity. Together, let us envision a world where the echoes of war are replaced by the humanitarian gestures of peace that transcend all boundaries and borders," wrote Tovino.
Tovino has played the lead role in Adrishya Jalakangal, in addition to producing it. Billed as an anti-war movie, it also stars Nimisha Sajayan and Indrans. It's written and directed by Bijukumar Damodaran and is due in cinemas on November 24.
