Story:

Trained under Anakin (Darth Vader), Ahsoka sets off on a journey to bring Ezra Bridger back. She is doing so for her apprentice, Sabine Wren.

Review:

Episode 6 commences in a rather unusual manner. We get to witness star whales during the intergalactic travel. It does not take long for Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka to come into the picture. However, that is the only time she does appear in the episode and even then, the focus is on the cute droid, Huyang.

This time, you have Huyang take you to the world of Star Wars. He narrates the story you needed to hear.

Episode 6 – Far, Far Away – is the journey of witches, uncertainties and long pauses. You literally have to wait for a long time for something to happen on the screen.

The focus shifts to Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s Sabine Wren but it takes long to even come to her. Sabine gets an opportunity to showcase her skills this time but it is merely a blink-and-miss.

Diana Lee Inosanto as Lady Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno’s Shin Hati and Ray Stevenson’s Baylon Skull are who the show revolves around. Add General Thawrne and more witches to it and you have the sixth episode of the show ready.

Eman Esfandi is one of the hidden packages in the series. He plays Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka. The character is closely associated with both Sabine as well as Ahsoka.

The music does not work, for it just tries to intensify the drama. However, it is the story itself that does no good this time around.

The visuals lure you in. The locations and cinematography are to be credited for the same.

Some cute members like Noti and Howler are introduced in the episode. Even though their introduction could be way better, it works.

Verdict:

The Jennifer Getzinger directed episode is not up to the mark. The story develops at a very slow pace and there is little to nothing that this episode offers. It is better to wait it out this week.
