Aindrila Sharma: The actress is back in ventilation support, infection found in her body

It has been a week and actress Aindrila Sharma’s fight is on. On Monday, her boyfriend Sabyasachi Chowdhury informed her fans that she was taken out of ventilation support. However, on Tuesday, she is back in ventilation. While the level of ventilation is low, she is suffering from an infection. However, the hospital informed us that the actress is responding to the treatment.

On Monday Sabyasachi took to Facebook and wrote, “Today is the sixth day in the hospital. Aindrila is still unconscious. But she is out of ventilation. Her respiration is better than before. Her blood pressure is nearing normalcy. There is no fever. As long as her mother stays with her, she does her physiotherapy. Her father and sister talk to the doctors every day. Sourav (Das, actor) and Dibyo stay with me at the hospital every night. I chat with Aindrila thrice a day. When she recognises my voice her heart rate goes up. She tries to hold my hand. And she perspires. I used to feel scared initially but now I understand that this is one of the external stimuli to bring her back.”

Aindrila, a cancer survivor, suffered a critical brain stroke and was rushed to a hospital on Tuesday. She went into unconsciousness in 10 minutes and threw up, her mother informed. She was rushed to a super specialty hospital where she underwent surgery and ever since she is in a coma state under ventilation support. The Bengali film fraternity came together and extended their wishes to her for a speedy recovery. They also extended solidarity to Sabyasachi who has been with the actress every minute. Actor Sourav Das has been staying with him every night at the hospital.
