Ajith starrer Valimai is likely to clash with Ram Charan and Jr. NTR's upcoming film RRR. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the latter is one of the most-awaited Telugu releases of the year. On the other hand, 'Thala' fans have been waiting for Valimai's release with bated breath. Thus, the two movies could end up becoming the biggest clashes of the year.
RRR, which is a mega ensemble project, has been made on a huge budget. It is likely to be released on October 13, as announced recently. Similarly, the Boney Kapoor produced Valimai is, according to a report on Sakshi Post, planning to release on Diwali i.e. on the same day.
Both of them started promoting their movie around the same time. While Ajith's first look from Valimai has been revealed, RRR gave the viewers a glimpse of behind-the-scenes from the film. The makers have the audiences a glimpse of the characters played by Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and others, apart from a glance into the location, costumes, action scenes and cinematography in RRR.
On the other hand, Ajith's Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayappa, Pugazh and Sumithra in pivotal roles. The movie is co-produced and presented by Zee Studios.
Interestingly, RRR will start streaming on ZEE5 a few days after its theatrical release. Valimai, which is backed by Zee Studios, could also stream on the same platform. An official announcement of the same is still awaited.
Now that the Unlock phase has begun, many exciting movies are heading for release. Since they are competing to release their movies as soon as possible, especially on special occasions, the clashes are also back. One such example we saw recently was in Prabhas-Pooja Hegde's Radhe Shyam clashing with Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Valimai vs RRR might just join the list.
