And now, a fresh report states that the 56-year-old actor has joined forces with Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the director renowned for the Fukrey series, in an exciting collaboration.

According to a report published by Pinkvilla this evening, Akshay Kumar has agreed to work on another comedy film after signing up for comedy films in the Welcome franchise, the Housefull franchise and the Hera Pheri franchise.
Mrigdeep Singh Lamba would likely direct a comedy film with Akshay Kumar in the lead.
The report elaborated that Akshay Kumar, known for his comedic prowess, is actively searching for scripts. Recently, he met with Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and was greatly impressed by his innovative script concept. Lamba, famous for creating the unusual Fukrey series, will now develop a new and original universe. Their partnership aims to deliver a hilarious comedy that seamlessly fuses slapstick humour and witty banter.
Furthermore, the Pinkvilla report mentioned that the film is likely to go on the floor in the second half of 2024. Gautam Mehra wrote the film, while Mahveer Jain is the producer.
