Alia Bhatt announces Netflix's new streaming charges and it's good news

It’s Happy New Prices! Netflix unveiled a video featuring Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt to inform its Indian audience about the reduced price of their monthly plans. The earlier price of streaming Netflix on devices other than mobile was Rs 499, which has now come down to Rs 199, while the new charge of watching Netflix on the mobile app is Rs 149.  

The latest video featuring the Gully Boy actress begins with a girl, who tells Alia a secret. The actress then broadcasts it to all her friends and colleagues in the quirky video, while in the end she mistakenly reveals the news to the paparazzi.

The Raazi actor shared the latest video through her Instagram handle and wrote in the caption, “Finally, the news is out! Netflix has launched its #HappyNewPrices, which means you can watch Netflix on any device at ₹199 and on your mobile for just ₹149! @netflix_in ab sabne sun hi liya hai toh phone utha lo. #ad (sic).”

The OTT giant shared the video on its official Instagram handle and asked the audience if they are convinced with Alia Bhat or not.

Meanwhile, the Standard plan that supports two concurrent screens has been reduced to Rs 499 from Rs 649 and the most expensive plan that offers four screens with Ultra high-definition content has come down to Rs 649 from Rs 799. 

Netflix offers a barrage of content in most of the genres including comedy, action, thriller, romance and more in multiple languages from across the world such as Hindi, English, Malayalam, Spanish, Italian, Korean among others.
