Allu Arjun turns into a 'Green Warrior' and encourages planting trees

Allu Arjun has developed an interest in environmental awareness, as indicated by his most recent initiative. The Pushpa actor has transformed into a 'green warrior,' caring for a variety of plants in his profession and at home. He's said to be having a great experience with his new interest. From his work to his home, Allu Arjun has planted a wide array of rich greenery, which he takes care of, intending to make the world a better and greener place, a press release states.

Allu also chooses to offer pots of small plants and seedlings to his close ones on important occasions, highlighting the need for afforestation and emphasizing the emerging challenges of deforestation and global warming, according to the press release.

On World Environment Day last year, the actor, who is also an environmental activist, initiated a campaign to persuade enthusiasts to plant more trees, highlighting and bringing the cause of afforestation forward.

Again at the box office, Sukumar's Pushpa: The Rise outperformed numerous major releases, including Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi and Spider-Man: No Way Home to become this year's biggest hit. In Hindi belts, the film shattered various box office records and even crossed the 100-crore mark.

This year, the actor has a busy schedule with multiple projects lined up. Allu Arjun will return in the second and last chapter of the Pushpa series after a massive box office smash. The actor will reprise his role as Pushpa in the follow-up, which is set to be released in 2022.

His other movie Icon, directed by Venu Sriram, is set to hit theatres this year. Pooja Hegde and Krithi Shetty also play significant roles in the film.

Then there is the Telugu language action-drama film starring Allu Arjun - AA21. Its official title is yet to be unveiled. Siva Koratala directed the film, which is set to be released this year according to News18.
