"Am I dreaming?!” says Pruthvi Ambaar as team Sugarless receives a special tweet from ‘Vikram’ actor Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi is no stranger to the growing stature of Kannada cinema. As someone who has frequented Bengaluru to promote his work, the actor boasts of a huge fan-following in the city by virtue of his many memorable performances. His most recent visit saw him address the media and talk about his fondness for Kannada cinema and his experience shooting for the Kannada film Akhaada (debut film).

Very recently, Vijay Sethupathi took to social media to share an appreciation post for the film Sugarless. The film, starring Pruthvi Ambaar and Priyanka Thimmesh, explored the plight of a young man diagnosed with diabetes and how the metabolic disease poses a stiff challenge to one's lifestyle and well-being. Sugarless managed to reap good reviews post its theatrical release with the audiences too taking kindly to the film's novel storyline. In this vein, Vijay Sethupathi's tweet to congratulate the team on its success has charmed everyone, considering the film isn’t the most highly reckoned one from the Kannada Film Industry.

“Congratulations for the grand success to #Sugarless team,” wrote the Vikram actor recently.

For obvious reasons, Pruthvi Ambaar was on cloud nine following Vijay Sethupathi’s tweet and even took to social media to soon after to express his joy. “Am I dreaming!!!!” wrote the young actor as he shared a screenshot of the tweet and thanked him for the special gesture. The appreciation tweet from the Tamil superstar also received tremendous love from the netizens who were touched by his caring words for Sugarless.

“Happy to see a Tamil ⭐ wishing luck for a Kannada movie. Let all four industry talents work mutually and spread the world our great culture and heritage,” wrote a user.

Prior to the release of the film, Vikrant Rona star Kiccha Sudeep had sent out a message wishing all the luck to team Sugarless. Daali Dhananjaya, who was recently seen sharing the screen space with Pruthvi Ambaar in Vijay Milton’s Bairagee, spoke of the positive reviews Sugarless has garnered and said that he wishes to soon watch the film on the big screen.
