This morning, Raj Kundra dropped a cryptic Instagram Story which conveyed that “he has separated” and urged his fans to give him “privacy during this difficult period”. Shilpa has not reacted to this development on her Instagram handle yet. While an official statement from the duo is not out yet, Shilpa expressed at an event just now that she practices what she preaches. The context of this statement by the actress is yet not known.
What did Shilpa Shetty say?
Speaking to news agency ANI today evening at an event in Mumbai, Shilpa expressed how she has been inspired by her mother over the years. She even shared how her children inspire her every day.
“I have been inspired by my mother who herself has been a strong woman and has worked all her life. I have grown up watching her. I approach her with respect because I have learned my work ethic from her. I still work for my children. I am financially independent. I want my children to see that their mother goes to work and has a work ethic. I want my daughter to also be independent. So, I practice what I preach, and my children will end up becoming those children who have seen how their mother works on an everyday basis," said Shilpa Shetty.

On Wednesday, Raj unveiled the trailer for his movie 'UT69,' where he shares his perspective on his time behind bars. In the film, Raj candidly discusses the challenging conditions he faced during his 63-day stint at Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail. For those unfamiliar, Raj Kundra was arrested and identified as a key figure in a pornographic case. During the trailer launch on Wednesday, Raj became emotional, shedding tears as he recounted the days spent in jail and expressed gratitude for Shilpa Shetty's unwavering support, not just as a wife but also as his closest friend.
“It was painful for my family. Mujhe bolo jo bolna hai yaar, mere biwi, bache, family pe mat jao yaar, kya bigaada hai app logo ka unhone? (Talk about me, say me whatever you want to. Don’t go on my wife, kids, and family, what have they done to you?),” Raj had said at a press meet.
