For viewers enthralled by the excitement, intrigue and thrill offered by Angithee, here’s some good news. A stand alone sequel to the 2021 film is all set to hit the silver screen soon. Titled Angithee 2, the upcoming sequel promises to be as exciting and steamy as its predecessor.
The makers recently unveiled the trailer of Angithee 2, which introduces viewers to Kavya, a young married woman who is disappointed by her husband’s oblivious behaviour to her needs. Her dissatisfaction soon drives her into the arms of a young, charming yet rebellious young man. She finds herself attracted to the man against her better judgement, and surprisingly finds herself happy with her tryst. But will her conscience catch up with her?

The official synopsis of the film talks about how the film chronicles the life of Kavya, a married woman who lives a dull, monotonous life in Jammu with her husband. Her craving for excitement is fulfilled when a young man enters her life, but she soon finds that her chance to be happy comes at a very heavy cost.
The film is a stand alone sequel to the ShemarooMe original film Angithee, which started streaming on the platform in 2021. The original film also followed the story of a married woman whose affair with a man caused her to pay a heavy price.
The upcoming film features Shafaq Naaz, Rishi Bhutani and Fezan Khan in lead roles. Shoib Nikash Shah has directed the film, which was produced by Kalpana Saraiya and Yash Goradia. Harsh Vyas and Ibrar Malik have composed the music of the upcoming movie.
Angithee 2 will soon be available for streaming on ShemarooMe. A release date is yet to be announced by the makers. All ShemarooMe content is also available on OTTplay premium as well.
