Ranbir Kapoor’s fans and well-wishers, rejoice! The 41-year-old Bollywood superstar along with Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and the Animal team are present in Hyderabad today to promote the film in full swing. This evening, the team is present at a press meeting wherein they talk about the film in detail and additionally disclose whether there is a probability of Animal 2.

Animal 2 is in the making?

At a press meet in Hyderabad today, a journalist asked Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series Bhushan Kumar whether Animal 2 is in the making. To this question, he smilingly answered, “It is a surprise. You will come to know on the 1st of December.”

Runtime of Animal

At a press conference held yesterday evening in Bengaluru, Ranbir Kapoor shed light on the decision-making behind the extended duration of the film, as chosen by filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the Animal team. Ranbir Kapoor said, “We are releasing a film this long not because we feel arrogant about it. We felt that the story required that time to reach the audience in the best way possible. We have seen a cut of this film which was 3 hours and 49 minutes. And that cut was also entertaining.”

“Sandeep has worked very hard to bring the length down. We are hoping that the audience doesn’t get panicked by the length and experience cinema at its best,” Ranbir said.

Reportedly, Animal is one of the longest Indian films ever made with a runtime of 201 minutes (about 3 and a half hours).

The movie is slated to be released theatrically on December 1 in India as well as globally.

Animal given Adult Certificate by Censor Board

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted an 'A' (adults only) certificate to Ranbir Kapoor's recent action thriller, Animal, as disclosed by the filmmakers. This movie signifies the inaugural partnership between Ranbir and acclaimed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned for works such as Arjun Reddy and the blockbuster Hindi remake 'Kabir Singh'. With a gripping narrative centered on the intricate relationship between a son and a father, Animal is billed as an intense and "violent" cinematic experience.
