Ravi Teja, for the first time in his career, will be trying his hand at a pan-Indian film with Tiger Nageswara Rao, written and directed by Vamsee. The film will simultaneously release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon and former Gayatri Bhardwaj are set to make their Telugu debut with the project.

The shoot of the film is currently progressing at brisk pace. The latest update from the team confirms that popular Hindi film actor Anupam Kher will be playing a key role in the film. Kher is a close associate of Abhishek Agarwal, the producer of Tiger Nageswara Rao and had worked in two of his other productions like Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2 recently.

The makers believe that his presence in the cast will enhance the film’s reach in the Hindi market. Producer Abhishek Agarwal has time and again stated that Tiger Nageswara Rao is a dream project in his career and is leaving no stone to make it on a huge scale. For the uninitiated, Tiger Nageswara Rao, set in the 70s, is biopic on the notorious thief from Stuartpuram.

Ravi Teja is reportedly undergoing a massive makeover the film and the team is confident that audiences will get to discover him in a new light with his body language and diction. R Madhie is cranking the camera for the same while national award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar is coming up with the music score.

Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Srikanth Vissa is the dialogue writer and Mayank Singhaniya is the co-producer. Ravi Teja had two releases this year - Khiladi and Ramarao on Duty - and both of them tanked at the box office. His other releases in the upcoming months include Dhamaka and Ravanasura, helmed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and Sudheer Varma respectively.
