It’s Anupama Parameswaran’s birthday today and her fans were treated to a special announcement to mark the occasion. As promised, the title of the actress’ next project was released by the makers today, on heels of them teasing the same with a post yesterday that promised a ‘transformation’ in the works.
The makers also unveiled an intriguing first look poster, featuring Parameswaran. The actress’ next film is titled Butterfly and true to the name, the poster is definitely a colorful one.
The first look poster, which was unveiled by Parameswaran on her official social media handles, sees the actress, dressed in yellow and arms crossed, standing in front of a chipped wall covered in colourful graffiti, depicting butterfly wings. The poster also contained a message wishing the star on her birthday.

The upcoming film is written and directed by Ghanta Satish Babu and has Ravi Prakash Bodapati, Prasad Tiruvalluri and Pradeep Nallimelli as its producers, who will bankroll the film under the banner of Gen Next Movies. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Arviz and Gideon Katta. The upcoming film has gone on floors.
Meanwhile Parameswaran, who was last seen in Sree Harsha Konuganti’s coming-of-age drama Rowdy Boys, is keeping busy with a host of other projects, some of which are awaiting their release soon. Her upcoming releases include 18 Pages, in which she will share the screen with Nikhil Siddharth; the Tollywood remake of Anna Ben’ Helen; and the sequel to 2014’s Karthikeya.
