Anupamaa: Adhik-Pakhi breaks their family’s heart; Will Vanraj ever forgive his daughter?

The Shahs start the Lakshmi puja in the absence of Pakhi, after the latter locks herself in her room. Anupama feels a sense of unease as she does puja. The Kapadias make their way to the Shah house, and there is tension in the air when Ankush and Barkha arrive.

Anupama tries to bring Pakhi out of her room. When the young woman refuses to answer the door, Anupama gets worried and tells the family. As they are about to force open the door, they are met with a shocking sight. Adhik and Pakhi make their way into the house together, wearing garlands. Pakhi is seen with sindoor and a mangalsutra, and the two reveal that they got married.

Adhik apologises to the family for getting married without informing them, saying that they had no choice. They said that they were afraid that everyone would try and separate them after the chaos that happened yesterday. Pakhi reveals that it was her idea to get married at a temple without the family’s knowledge. She says she is ready to accept whatever punishment the family decides.

Hasmukh is furious, and Vanraj is on the verge of collapsing from the shock. Baa becomes hysterical, and Anupama gets furious that Adhik and Pakhi were not able to wait even one day to put aside their selfish needs. She scolds Pakhi for being so selfish. Anupama asks why Pakhi couldn't wait a while, and why she did not fight with her family for accepting their love. Vanraj listens to all of this in silence.

The next episode will see Vanraj make a difficult decision, borne out of his anger and hate. A promo for the upcoming episode shows how he refuses to accept his daughter’s apologies. Packing her suitcases, he throws them out and asks Pakhi to leave the Shah house and stay with her husband from now on.
