Leela is frightened because of the threats and begs Anupama to think about the family first. Anupama understands Baa’s anxiety, but Kavya and Kinjal side with Anupama, and the trio say that they ought to fight. As Baa continues her requests, Hasmukh, Paritosh and Samar arrive, and the former tells them everything that happened.
Baa incessantly tells Anupama to back out, but she refuses saying that she cannot stay quiet after what she witnessed, as it could have easily been her daughter as well. She says that if she backed out now, there would be no difference between her and the perpetrators, or between her and the cowardly Nirmit. She declares that things will not change unless they try and change it. She adds that God helps those who help themselves.
Kavya, Kinjal, Samar, Hasmukh and the rest of the family rally around Anupama for her cause, and say they will join Anupama in her fight. Baa still refuses to listen and says that although Anupama’s stand is right, her actions are dangerous and begs her to reconsider once more.
Anupama asks Baa to stop, saying that the former will not change her decision and will punish the men despite what happens. Anupama is relieved to see that most of the family supports her. After warning Baa that everything she fears might be a real possibility, Anupama leaves.
Pakhi meets up with her friend, who talks about how lucky the former is to have gotten married to Adhik. The two girls are followed by an unknown person.
Adhik tries to comfort Dimple, and he receives a call from the police station saying that one of the perpetrators has been caught. As Anupama returns to the Kapadia house, her car breaks down and she is forced to hail an auto. A group of men surround the auto and attack Anupama.
She is forced to flee on foot when the auto breaks down. The men corner her and try to assault her. They warn her not to fight Dimple’s case, warning that what happened to Dimple might happen to Anupama or her loved ones as well.
