Anything's possible

The streaming giant Amazon Prime Video is coming up with another coming-of-age story, titled Anything’s Possible. The rom-com is about high school students and how they navigate their lives, school and love lives. The makers have now dropped the trailer of the film and it looks quite interesting.

The trailer opens with a scene in a high school where the teacher asks to pick a partner and paint their respective portraits. Kelsa, a confident girl, who is trans and Khal pick each other and are seen painting each other's portraits and developing a liking for one another. But Kelsa's friend likes Khal too. Khal shows the courage to ask Kelsa out despite being aware of all the complications that it could create. What follows is a romance that showcases the joy, tenderness, and pain of young love. The film stars the newcomer Eva Reign, Abubakr Ali, and Renée Elise Goldsberry, among others. Anything’s Possible is a modern Gen Z coming-of-age story, directed by Billy Porter. The film marks the Emmy Award-winning actor's directorial debut. Billy earlier told Variety that the film is an 'aspirational story'. "It’s almost like a fairytale. We know that. It’s a look at what we can be. That’s what we as artists get to do — look at what we can be and what we should be,” he told the portal.

The film is written by Ximena García Lecuona. The film is produced by Christine Vachon, David Hinojosa, Andrew Lauren and D.J. Gugenheim along with Ximena García Lecuona, Billy Porter and Allison Rose Carter, who serve as executive producers of the project. The music is by Leo Birenberg.
