Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom BTS video: Jason Momoa gets back in action

Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa is all set to be seen in Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom soon. The actor has started shooting for the same with director James Wan and now, they share a glimpse from the BTS of the world. James begins by promising that the world of Aquaman is epic and huge.

Black Manta, from Aquaman, is back and he is seeking vengeance from the sea prince. With that, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays the lead antagonist in Aquaman 2. The film also sees Amber Herd return as underwater princess, Mera.

The BTS video shows glimpses of high-end action in the upcoming movie. It also focuses on the locations.

Aquaman is the story of a man whose who clan live ls beneath the ocean. While he has a whole world to go back to underwater, Aquaman prefers to be on land and help fight villain on ground rather than just in water. However, since that is his space, Aquaman is often seen fighting underwater as well.

Jason Momoa first took on the role of Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice back in 2016. He then became a part of Justice League and by 2018, had his own franchise - Aquaman.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom also stars Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Mera's father, Kign Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin. The movie is slated to release on December 16, 2022. It is likely to release in theatres rather than directly on OTT.
