Social media has been abuzz with Dada filmmaker Ganesh K Babu bagging a project that has Dhruv Vikram playing the lead for quite some time. Lyca Productions is said to be bankrolling the movie, the announcement of which is likely to happen soon.

The latest on the untitled film is that AR Rahman has been roped in to compose music for the project. However, the musician himself has given a clarification on his involvement in the movie. He took to his Twitter page to say that the news is untrue and requested everyone not to spread rumours.

Nevertheless, he wished success for the movie and Dhruv. His tweet read, "Not true ..kindly don’t spread rumours. I wish the talented, charming Dhruv and the whole team an amazing success (sic)." The movie will be the young actor's fourth outing.

His debut release was Adithya Varma, followed by Mahaan. His project with Mari Selvaraj, a sports drama, was confirmed long ago. The makers have been waiting to announce it officially for reasons best known to them. Though his debut was supposed to be Varma under Bala's helm, the project was dropped owing to creative differences between the director and producers.

Meanwhile, AR Rahman had Pathu Thala, Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Maamannan this year in Tamil. His next release in Kollywood is likely to be Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan. The veteran musician was in the news recently when his concert in Chennai was canceled at the last minute owing to heavy rain.

His fans expressed disappointment on the same and requested him to organize the next event soon without any hassle. He announced the new date for the concert the other day in a new location in Chennai.
