Aryan Khan to make a directorial debut with Amazon Prime Video next year?

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is planning to make a directorial debut soon. If reports are to be believed, he will make his debut as a filmmaker with a project for Amazon Prime Video. There were also rumours that the project is all set to go on the floors soon. However, according to Peepingmoon.com, these reports are untrue. 

The portal said in a report that Khan had shared his idea with the OTT player and has plans to direct it but they politely told him that they need more time. But this is surprising as there were reports earlier stating that Khan has begun working on it and even did a mock shoot with a proper team at a location a few days ago. 

A source told the portal further that Aryan Khan is very young and inexperienced to do a full-fledged project at the moment and he needs to first master all aspects of filmmaking and write scripts before he takes up this huge responsibility. Khan also wants to write several scripts that he'd like to direct. The source also said that Khan is a quick learner and will hopefully kickstart his debut project early next year. 

Aryan Khan did his graduation in Fine Arts, Cinematic Arts, Film & TV Production at the University of Southern California. His father and superstar, Shah Rukh Khan had earlier revealed that Aryan does not have any interest in acting and that he prefers to be behind the camera than in front of it. He said Aryan is more into filmmaking than acting. 

Meanwhile, Karan Johar can't wait to sign Aryan Khan on. He had said earlier that Khan will make his debut only under his home production, Dharma Films. Johar wants to launch his career, be it as a director or actor. Since he has seen him growing up, he said he cannot let anybody else sign him on. 

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan seems to be interested in acting. She is currently working on her debut project, The Archies by Zoya Akhtar. The project is launching the star kids, including Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor (Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter) and Agastya Nanda (Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's grandson).
