​As Sardar and Prince gear up for release, Karthi and Sivakarthikeyan's THIS gesture wins hearts

​With just two days to go for the release of Karthi's Sardar and Sivakarthikeyan's Prince, both the teams are aggressively promoting their respective films. While Karthi's Sardar is a spy thriller directed by PS Mithran, Prince is a romantic comedy helmed by Anudeep KV. In the meantime, a similar gesture from the lead actors of both films are winning hearts.
Both the actors have wished each other success during the promotions and have asked the audience to experience both films. Karthi stated during the promotions, "Two films are releasing this Diwali, Sivakarthikeyan's Prince and my film, Sardar. Both are different kinds of films and I pray that it's a great Diwali for all of us."

Sivakarthikeyan, too, while promoting Prince, urged the audience to watch both films." Karthi's Sardar is also releasing on the same day as my film. Sardar falls into a completely different genre, which is poles apart from Prince. It's an exciting moment for the film industry when two films of such different genres hit screens on  a big occasion like Diwali. I hope that it will be a brand new experience for cinema lovers as well. I wish the Sardar team and hope both films do well."

Fans of both the actors have been trending the videos of the speeches, emphasising that it's not Sardar vs Prince, but Sardar and Prince.

Sardar is a spy thriller in which Karthi plays a dual role as a police officer and a spy. He will be sporting 15 different getups for the spy character. Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan play the leading ladies in the film. While Sardar marks the debut of Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey in Tamil, it also marks the comeback of Laila to the film industry after a hiatus of over a decade.
Prince, on the other hand, is a romantic comedy, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Sathyaraj, Premgi Amaren and Anandharaj. The film marks the debut of Ukraine model Maria Riaboshapka in the Indian film industry. The film is said to be a laugh riot.
