The Indian cricket team’s following is massive and it goes beyond boundaries considering how many Indians live their lives outside the country. The Indian Men’s cricket team is set to travel to the UAE soon, where they will take on Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the highly-awaited Asia Cup 2022.

The 15th edition of the tournament, which will be played in the highly entertaining T20 format, was supposed to take place back in 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sri Lanka was then set to host the tournament, but the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) informed the ACC that they would not be in a position to host the tournament due to the economic and political crisis in the country.

It was then confirmed that the tournament will be held in the UAE, with Sri Lanka serving as the host. The fixture announcement came earlier this month and fans have been excited since. While the Indian squad that will make the trip is yet to be announced, fans expect to see some of their favourite players such as K.L. Rahul and Deepak Chahar.

The final will take place in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on September 11.

The tournament, which will see defending champions India back in action, will be a feast for all Indian cricket fans. All the matches start at 7:30 PM IST and will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
