On Friday, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji hinted that the highly awaited film Brahmastra's release date might be revealed soon. The director took to his Instagram to share the message: "This moment is appropriate as I started the Instagram adventure two and a half years ago, with Brahmastra's release just a few months away." After that, Ayan revealed that they needed extra time to polish the film, and then he disappeared from Instagram.
For the Wake Up Sid Helmer also mentioned the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that the world then came to a halt for a little moment. However, Ayan assured us that Brahmastra has been on every single day during all of this! Growing with all the love and commitment it requires, Ayan added that the film is patiently awaiting its turn.
The director also released a behind-the-scenes photo of Ranbir Kapoor, the film's star. The actor can be seen in the shot with a gruff appearance and what appears to be a weapon in his palm. A burning flame may also be seen in the backdrop.

He added that it's time to put something from Brahmastra out there and that the time has come for "another," but this time it's the final release date. To accomplish it all in a way that is as thrilling and unique as the film experience that Ayan has dedicated his life to creating as soon as possible.
Earlier this week, Ayan shared a few BTS photos featuring the lead actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir, having a candid conversation. The director's post also included the set up of Durga Puja, which is likely to be featured in Brahmastra.
