Brahmastra was first announced back in the year 2014. Initial reports had suggested that the film is likely to be titled Dragon. However, later the name was changed to Brahmastra as it was a better fit to the narrative. Brahmastra is a three-part trilogy and the first part titled Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has a host of stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in addition to the leads - Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Shah Rukh Khan and Dimple Kapadia are reported to have a special appearance in Brahmastra. Multiple reports doing the rounds suggest that Deepika Padukone too is likely to have a cameo in the film. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9.
