Ayushmann Khurrana announces Action Hero, unveils exciting teaser

Bollywood’s favourite star Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up to headline Action Hero, helmed by debutant Anirudh Iyer under the banner of T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. Confirming the news, the actor shared the teaser of the movie on his social media handle, offering his fans a curious wait. 

Anirudh Iyer, who has assisted the directors of Paparazzi and Tanu Weds Manu Returns will be on the director’s chair, and the movie will chronicle the journey of an actor behind the cameras. It also promises offbeat satirical humour and action sequences. 

Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Khuranna wrote in the caption, ‘Dikkat Bas Ek Hai, Mujhe Ladne Ki Acting Aati Hai, Ladna Nahin..’. He also added his note of excitement for this genre-breaking collaboration in the later part of the caption.

Khurrana is not a newbie to T-Series and Yellow Productions as he has already starred in their projects Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. He revealed in a recent statement that the production houses are like a second home to him. He further shared his insights about the new venture saying that he hopes to track the record and entertain the worldwide audience with disruptive scripts. He also believes the script of Action Hero has all trappings of cinema that are known to him. 

Meanwhile, producer Bhushan Kumar also thinks the Andhadhun actor will perfectly fit the role of eponymous ‘Action Hero’ in the movie. 

The film will be reportedly shot in India and the UK.
