Ayushmann Khurrana is back as ‘An Action Hero’ - THIS is when the film releases

Ayushmann Khurrana has been acing his roles in Bollywood. While doing unique roles, he has also turned ‘An Action Hero’. No, that is actually the name of his upcoming film. Don’t believe us? Well, do already because the actor himself has announced that his movie has a release date.

Sharing a new poster from his film, Ayushmann shared that An Action Hero is slated to release on December 2, 2022. The actor was seen between blurry lines in the new poster.

An Action Hero is produced by T-Series and Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Production. This is not the first time when Ayushmann has joined hands with either of them. While he has a long association with T-Series as an actor and a musician, Ayushmann has also appeared in Aanand’s movies Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan.

The actor was last seen in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which was also a T-Series production. The movie, which co-starred Vaani Kapoor, received love from all corners and is now available for streaming on Netflix.

Apart from An Action Hero, Ayushmann has two other movies in his kitty. He is a part of Doctor G and Anek.

While Doctor G was announced for a release on June 17, the makers are yet to release some looks and promos of the movie. Meanwhile, given the current situation, it appears that Anek might release in theatres soon. The movie is slated to release on May 13.

While An Action Hero’s theatrical release date is out, there is no update on its OTT release date so far. The film is expected to follow the same procedure as other movies – release on OTT after its theatrical run.
