Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhhan Paandey, which released in theatres on March 18, has been received love from many. However, most of the people showering love on the film happen to be either Akshay, Jacqueline Fernandez or Kriti Sanon fans. Every other Twitterati has either liked the movie or hated it.

These people have shared images from inside the theatre and written about their experience watching the movie with a crowd. For the uninitiated, Bachchhan Paandey has gone houseful in Mumbai’s renowned theatre, Gaiety Galaxy, also known as G7.

One user has mentioned how people love Akshay, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi and Sanjay Mishra in the film. Another also mentioned how Jacqueline Fernandez steals the show even with her cameo performance. The actress, for the first time ever, doesn’t only talk in Hindi but in UP (Uttar Pradesh’s) language.

While the few people liked the movie, there were also some who absolutely hated it. One user went on to call Bachchhan Paandey ‘storyless movie’ and penned how he spent Rs. 500 behind the film only to listen to Arijit Singh in the theatre.

The user, along with another netizen, questioned why Akshay agreed to do the film. The second user tagged director Farhad Samjhi and producer Sajid Nadiadwala as people who are famous for making ‘cringe remakes.’ He also pointed out about their upcoming collaboration with Salman Khan on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and called it RIP.

Bachchhan Paandey also stars Abhimanyu Singh, Saharsh Shukla and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. The movie sees TV actor Gaurav Chopra in a cameo appearance.

After its theatrical run, Bachchhan Paandey will be available on Amazon Prime Video for streaming. The OTT release date for this film is yet to be unveiled.
