Bachchhan Paandey new poster: Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez are lost in each other's eyes

The team of Bachchhan Paandey is currently gearing up for the trailer release of the film. Starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role, after unveiling Kriti Sanon's first look, the actor has now shared his new poster featuring Jacqueline Fernandez. It seems like they are romantically paired opposite each other. In the poster, they are seen sharing a straw in a twisted way while drinking coconut water.

Akshay captioned his post as "दो अलग लोग, एक ज़मीन तो दूसरा आसमान| जब यह एक हो जाए तो होगा क्या? Find out today, #BachchhanPaandey trailer out at 10.40 am."

Meanwhile, as per reports, in Bachchhan Paandey, Jacqueline appears in flashback scenes romancing Akshay's character when he was younger. In the present, Akshay plays a bearded mobster opposite Kriti Sanon, an aspiring director, yet in the flashback parts, he romances Jacqueline with his moustache appearance.

The trailer for Bachchhan Paandey will be out today, that is, February 18, 2022. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his home banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. 

Reports have it that the film is the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film Jigarthanda, which featured Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Lakshmi Menon, Karunakaran, and Guru Somasundaram.

Talking about the plot of Jigarthanda, because he wants to make a violent gangster picture, an aspiring director goes after a brutal gangster. His covert efforts to track down the gangster failed terribly. Things finally come to a head when he is discovered snooping.

Bachchhan Paandey marks Akshay's first release of 2022. The film is set to be a festive release and will hit the big screens on March 18, 2022, on the occasion of Holi.
