The new song by Bachchhan Paandey, titled Heer Raanjhana, is out. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez in the video, the latest track is a love ballad. It essentially shows the past of Bachchhan Paandey before he turns into a dreadful gangster. The song has cute moments between Akshay and Jacqueline as they explore the beauty of Rajasthan through a funfair and also by turning into tourists.
The Heer Raanjhana song is crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh. The music was composed by Amaal Mallik, while the lyrics were penned by Kumaar.
Amaal Malik, B Praak, Jaani, Vikram Montrose, and Roy composed the film's music, while Kumaar, Jaani, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Vikram Montrose, and Azeem Dayani wrote the lyrics. Julius Packiam composed the film's background score.
Talking about the plot of Bachchhan Paandey, a nascent filmmaker (Kriti Sanon) conducts research on a ruthless mobster (Akshay Kumar) in preparation for a film on gangsters. However, his covert research efforts are thwarted when he is found snooping.
Meanwhile, at a recently held press conference, Akshay was asked about playing an anti-hero in the upcoming film. To which the actor said that, in comparison to the hero, who only wins in the last 10 minutes of the movie, he has realized that the villain has a good role and a lot of substance to his character. It was a lot of fun for the actor to perform the part.
Bachchhan Paandey also features Arshad Warsi in a pivotal role.
Due to Aamir Khan's request to avert the clash with Laal Singh Chaddha, it was pushed back to January 22, 2021. The film will be released in theatres on March 18, 2022.
