There's more than just one reason to be excited about the upcoming action thriller Bad Manners. First, of course, is the fact that Duniya Suri is back in action and promises to bring his A-game with a rejuvenated Abishek Ambareesh by his side. Second, and perhaps more importantly, the film brings back the superb combination of Suri and music composer Charan Raj who, in the matter of only two collaborations, have managed to create a niche for themselves.

Following the very impressive and equally successful soundtracks of Tagaru and Popcorn Monkey Tiger, Charan Raj and Suri are back together for yet another super exciting prospect in Bad Manners. And judging by the quality of the first single, which was released earlier today on March 22 (Ugadi), fans have some great music in store.

The maiden single is also the title track of Bad Manners and there's no doubt that the duo has hit the ground running. Oozing funk and a lot of glamour and attitude, the song boasts all qualities of a chartbuster. The main highlight, however, is the iconic Usha Uthup lending her inimitable vocals and accentuating the song with her trademark texture. Akash Jacob joins her in singing the main portions of the title track.

Show Kotre, Boom Boom Boom

Dhananjay Ranjan's lyrics perfectly accompany Charan Raj's groovy beat and it is apparent that the composer has channelled his inner Michael Jackson fan for this song. Netizens, too, are mighty impressed with what the talented team has put together.

In a recent video snippet shared by record label Anand Audio, Charan Raj can be seen discussing the elements of the song that one generally finds in the funk & disco sound of the early 1980s. He also expressed delight over the opportunity of working with the legendary Usha Uthup.

Bad Manners also stars Rachita Ram, Priyanka Kumar, Thara, Sharath Lohithashwa, and several others. The film is expected to release in May of 2023.
