Bade Miyan Chote Miyan box office collection day 1: Despite being a multi-starrer and made on a very big budget, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan received poor reviews after releasing on the big screens today. The film, which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles is made on a massive budget and was promoted at multiple locations. The film, however, managed to open in double digits at the box office thanks to the occasion of Eid 2024. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, BMCM minted over ₹14 crore on its first day at the box office, according to Sacnilk.com.

Promising an action-packed extravaganza, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the baddie and Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chillar, and Alaya F as female leads. However, when the film was released in the theatres, it garnered mixed reviews according to the Twitter reactions of the audience.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan vs Maidaan

It is to be noted that this Akshay Kumar starrer is facing competition with Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan at the ticket window. Maidaan was released in theatres yesterday, on April 10. However, Maidaan, which is a biopic on Syed Abdul Rahim's dedication to football started at the box office with just ₹2.6 crore. and ₹3.55 crore on its first and second day, respectively.

As reported by the industry trade tracker, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had an overall occupancy of 29.30% in Hindi. The film earned ₹14.6 crore nett in India for all languages.

The film, which is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Ali Abbas Zafar, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra is leading from Ajay Devgn's film as of now. But it is to be seen how the film performs after the weekend, mainly on its first Monday as that is the time when the real test for the film begins.

BMCM was shot at multiple locations including Mumbai, Jordan, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and London. The film was released in multiple languages across the world on 11th April, 2024.
