Bagha Jatin trailer: Dev’s patriotic film is full with heart-warming dialogues

Last year, It was Dev’s Kacher Manush that was released on Puja. This year, he is coming with Bagha Jatin. His last film Byomkesh O Durgo Rahoshyo did well at the box office but did not achieve the expected success. Dev is now looking for another blockbuster after Projapoti. 

Bagha Jatin’s trailer was released on Monday. It shows Bagha Jatin killing a tiger. But the actor is then heard saying, “I did the wrong thing. Killing animals is a sin.” Arun Roy portrays the struggle for independence against the British Raj in the film. He has done that before, as proved previously in his film where he showed the fight of Binay, Badal, and Dinesh, on the screen.

The plan to kill Kingsford, the Alipore Bomb Case, and the battle of Buribalam – everything became lively, coming from the history book. A few of the dialogues in the trailer have the potential of becoming a hit among the viewers. “My path ends in death,” says Bagha Jatin and then he says, “We will die and only then the country will wake up.”

The trailer also showed the chemistry between Bagha Jatin and his wife Indubala, played by newcomer Sreeja Dutta. 

Dev previously played the footballer Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari. He is again in a biopic now. Singers like Arijit Singh and Rupam Islam sang in the film. Sudipta Chakraborty, Rohan Bhattacharya, Shoaib Kabir, and Samiul Islam played other roles in the film, to be released on October 19.
