The Hollywood heavyweights Ben Affleck and George Clooney are close friends and they haven't shared the big screen yet. At the premiere of The Tender Bar, directed by Affleck and starring Clooney, the batmen spoke about their interest to share the big screen together.

According to a report by etonline, Affleck hinted at the duo appearing on the big screen together. He said that he would love to share the screen space with Clooney but Clooney should first cast himself in a movie and then hire him. Adding that Clooney is really a good actor and a gifted filmmaker, he said, "He's a really smart actor, and what I really learned about George as an actor, is George really understands exactly how to kind of calibrate a performance. He really understands the audience's expectations." Affleck also shared that he had a great experience working with Clooney in the 2012 drama Argo which got him and Clooney Oscars for Best Picture. The film directed by Affleck was produced by Clooney. It is available to stream on Netflix. Affleck also mentioned that he is also the 'best and most precise director' he's worked with.

Though Affleck revealed his interest in acting alongside Clooney, Clooney isn't sure if it would happen anytime soon. He jokingly said why he may not appear on the screen with Affleck. "He's a foot taller than me! He makes me look like Mickey Rooney when I stand next to this guy," he told the portal. He also said that the two appearing on the screen would be too 'sexy' for one film.

Meanwhile, The Tender Bar will release in select theatres across the world on December 17. It will, however, be available to stream on Amazon Prime.
