Bell Bottom song Marjaawaan: Soulful and heartwarming melody on loop

Bell Bottom’s first single Marjaawaan is a heartwarming, lilting melody crooned by Gurnazar Singh and Assees Kaur. The lyrics for this melting melody is also written by Gurnazar Singh. The musical for the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer is composed by the duo, Gaurav Dev and Kartik Dev. The song is touted to be a lifelong promise of love between the characters of Akshay and Vaani.

Akshay Kumar’s movies of a similar genre are also known to have soul-searching and mind-blowing songs that make us want to fall in love. Be it, Airlift’s Soch Na Sake or Rustom’s Tere Sang Yara. They are songs that speak to us and reach out to us. Marjaawaan has succeeded in meeting our expectations of an authentic, deep, impactful and emotional number.

Meanwhile, Bell Bottom is a period spy-action thriller that features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead, along with Lara Dutta Bhupathi and Huma Qureshi in important roles. It is inspired by the hijacking tragic events of the 80s in India that happened in reality. It also includes the hijack of 1984’s Indian Airlines Airbus.

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bell Bottom is supposedly the code name for Akshay’s character in the movie. The film’s trailer was also released a few days back and garnered a lot of favourable reviews, and also featured Lara Dutta as ex-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The movie is scheduled to release on the 19th of August in 3D.
