Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr: Tota Roy Chowdhury explains how he fights the Kashmir cold

Srijit Mukherji and his team of Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr are finally back after spending days in Kashmir. In fact, Srijit, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Anirban Chakrabarti, and others enjoyed Holi – the festival of colour – in the middle of the snow. The team faced tough weather there. While it was getting hot and humid in Kolkata, they had to shoot at -6 degrees. Tota elaborated on this on social media. 

Tota wore a blue blazer on a white shirt and a muffler around his neck. But does it help in the cold? Tota wrote, “Temperature -6 degrees (Yes, minus six)... In winter protection: thermals under the shirt. Shivering inside but unfazed outside, because the character is Feluda. Whenever I play the role, I don’t feel the hunger, sleep, or fear (though I get scared when I remember the whims. I will talk about them during release); I remain dazed.” 

He added, ‘Magajastra (the power of brain), physical power, power of honesty, power of endeavour, power of love, and power of devotion: each of them is ready like the six bullets of a .32 Colt. Whenever needed, they will together, in Lalmohonbabu’s language, boom boom boom boom boom boom!” 

Feludar Goyendagiri’s next story is Bhuswarga Bhyonkor which will be dropped on Hoichoi. The project was supposed to be done last year. However the work was postponed because Srijit got busy with Byomkesh O Durgo Rohosyo. Srijit’s Oti Uttam was just released. After the initial promotions, Srijit went to Kashmir. He did the recce beforehand.

Anirban Chakrabarti plays Jatayu and Kalpan Mitra plays Topshe in the series. Previously, Chinnomostar Obhishap and Joto Kando Kathmandute were made by Srijit for Addatimes. However, the latter was not released due to several complications. 

Then, Srijit changed camp in 2022. He came to Hoichoi and made Darjeeling Jawmjawmat. It was released in June 2022. So, Feluda is coming back after two years.
